Doug and Michelle Hart are your hosts for a favorite vacation getaway on the shore of Lake Michigan in Leelanau County. They are currently vacationing on the east coast. The Hart family spent a fun, albeit rainy, day with me (Maine Day Trip) experiencing the New England charm of Portland, Kennebunkport, and York. The lobster bisque at Federal Jacks in Kennebunkport was one of the highlights of the day. But maybe the 1700 pound chocolate moose at the Len Libby Candy store took the 'cake'. If you are going to be in picturesque Northern Michigan be sure and stay at STONEBANX and take the Day Trip. The Hart's are great people and you will not be disappointed.
