Chickadee.jpgOriginal art on birch bark.  What an original idea!  This is a great "Maine Made" product by Maine artist Christine St.Pierre.  She takes naturally fallen birch bark and creates a unique piece of art.

Puffin.jpgHer rendentions of wildlife are authentic Maine birds and animals.

Take home your favorite scene of Maine's great locations.  Christine will even paint your favorite location photo of your Maine vacation.

Visit Birch Art to see the many pieces of unique paintings currently available.  These are great vacation souvenirs and gifts that everyone will appreciate.

When travelling in Maine, with Maine Day Trip, the highlight of each trip has always been a great opportunity to enjoy a memorable meal in a memorable location.  Whether you are in Portland, Camden, or Kennebunkport there are many great eating establishments to choose from.  Maine is quickly becoming one of the great foodie capitals in the nation.

Check out the Maine Food & Lifestyle blog "Plating Up" for the latest information and tips on Maine Foods, Chefs and Restaurants.

On New Year's Eve, my friends and I had dinner at The Grill Room in Portland's Old Port.  We had a great time and an excellent meal.  The food, service and atmosphere were perfect!

The Hartstone Inn (Camden) is recommended for a stay and an inspired meal.  I stayed overnight in November 2007 and this 1835 Victorian B&B is very special.  Check out The Blog here.  I am looking forward to another stay.

Be a special visitor in Maine - enjoy the scenery and the food!
